Breathing and Mind-Body Awareness

I often combine these aspects of yoga with my treatments.

As a therapist, I generally believe that most of a patient's healing comes from their own nervous system becoming more integrated with all the systems of their body.

Increasing nervous system integration is the western-medicine equivalent of "mind-body awareness."

The primary goal I have for all of my patients is too remove the barriers that are obstructing their own nervous system from healing their physical issues. If your nervous system can re-establish control of healing your body, your dependence on medications, supplements, and medical providers (including myself) may decrease.
